As a queer and genderqueer person, my passion is to provide informed and specialized care to LGTBQ+ families wanting to give birth or adopt; to people who may need extra support in, or are weary of the healthcare system; and to any clients looking for a supportive and holistic approach when considering abortion .
I’m continually working to deepen my practice to have an anti-oppression framework, and to understand how every body lives a unique experience in relation to themselves, to others, and to their surroundings. I believe people with uteri deserve deeply compassionate care and respect when it comes to all aspects of their reproductive health, including birth, miscarriage and abortion.
Taking the birth doula training with Jessica here at Birth Takes A Village has solidified my desire to support pregnant people in feeling empowered in their decision making, in their homes, and in their bodies.
I have been passionate about reproductive health since 2012 when my best friend had an abortion, later giving birth to her first child in 2016. In the summer of 2015 and fall of 2016, I took reproductive health workshops with Molly Dutton-Kenny, Ontario-based midwife, educator, and advocate. These intensives covered the history of abortion management, options and decision support, and having a holistic approach with the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of abortion

Birth Doula Services:
$800, sliding scale available; includes three prenatal visits, ongoing support through text or email, 24hr on-call service from 38 weeks until the birth, and one postpartum visit.
Abortion & Miscarriage Doula Services:
Pay what you can, suggested $100-$400; includes free initial consultation in person to discuss options and make a personalized plan, and ongoing support through text or email until next menstruation.
