Meena Natt is a birth doula and graduate from Wise Woman Way of Birth Doula Training. She is committed to ongoing learning to benefit her clients through mentorship, continuing education, and volunteer work in addition to her work as a practicing doula.
Meena’s well-rounded career background includes being a Kundalini Yoga Instructor, Licensed Practical Nurse, AND being an office manager for a Naturopathic clinic. This means that in addition to knowing just how to provide professional, compassionate and knowledgeable care at births, she also has amazing admin and organizational skills. She is in the process of taking over the admin side of Birth Takes a village to help take care of all of our clients on this front, as well. Her style is one of soft spoken and gentle passion; she’ll make you feel at ease without even trying. She also has a lifetime of experience of caring for babies and children, so she’s a natural at nurturing any older kiddos at births when needed. Her Kundalini practice gives her an added skills to draw on in her work with birth clients.
I fell in love with babies and expecting moms at the age of 16, when my sister had her first child. Since then, I have had the opportunity to care for many children. My life’s purpose and commitment to helping others, has connected me with a career of becoming a Doula. My goal is to educate women and help them connect with their inner strength, allowing them to gain confidence in their body’s ability to give birth. My services include three prenatal visits, on-going support via text or email, twenty-four hour on call service from 38 weeks until the birth and one postpartum visit. As a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, a personalized meditation/mindset practice can also be designed to help you prepare emotionally.
